ADP Canada Hosts Canadian Accountant Summit 2026 to Help Accountants Level Up to Strategic Advisory

TORONTO, April 8th, 2026 - ADP Canada, a global leader in HR and payroll solutions, recently hosted the Canadian Accountant Summit 2026, an all-day virtual event designed to help Canadian accountants evolve their practice from compliance to proactive, high-value advisory. Drawing more than 2,900 live attendees, this year’s Summit centered on the theme “Leveling Up to Advisory,” offering practical resources and actionable strategies for firms looking to step into the strategic advisor role for their clients.

The Summit reaffirmed ADP Canada’s commitment to supporting accountants through payroll and HR solutions. These solutions not only help free up time for accountants to focus on strategic advisory for their clients but also help provide data-driven insights that can help accountants and their clients make key business decisions.

The Summit’s opening session featured a panel discussion involving members of ADP Canada’s Accountant Advisory Board, a group of leading accounting professionals from across the country dedicated to promoting awareness of key developments in the field. Hosted by ADP Canada’s Garima Dhawan, Head of Channel Partner Operations for ADP Canada Small Business Services, the session delivered real-world perspectives on supporting clients through regulatory and technological change.

For her work in supporting the Canadian accountant community on behalf of ADP Canada, Dhawan was recently recognized by CanadianSME Business Magazine as one of the “Most Inspiring Women Entrepreneurs and Business Leaders of 2026.”

In addition to the Canadian Accountant Summit, ADP Canada’s commitment to supporting the accountant community is reflected through various resources, including:
